Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Clayton, New York

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse
• Proficient in triage, rapid assessment, and emergency procedures
• BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain composed, efficient, and precise under pressure
• Thorough understanding of ER protocols, infection control, and documentation standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs and rapidly identify changes in condition
• Initiate physician-ordered and RN-driven interventions during medical emergencies
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage equipment
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and care performed
• Educate patients and families regarding ongoing care, treatments, and follow-up
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
