Supervisor Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Cloquet, MN

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Minnesota (or compact state eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Previous supervisory, charge nurse, or leadership experience required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Thorough understanding of evidence-based emergency care practices
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Direct and support a team of ER nurses and ancillary staff to ensure cohesive, high-quality patient care
• Serve as a clinical resource, providing guidance for complex cases and intervening in emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Oversee daily ER operations, monitor patient flow, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering professional development and a positive work environment
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
