(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Clyde Park, Montana

A critical access emergency department seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in adult and pediatric ER care for an immediate opening. This role is ideal for a dynamic and skilled RN ready to thrive under pressure in a 9-bed, Trauma Level IV department. You’ll play an essential part in supporting a high-demand team and providing compassionate, rapid-response care to diverse patient populations.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Night shifts
• Variable days, including weekends and possible holidays
• 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 3-4 years of emergency department nursing experience
• At least two completed traveling contracts
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (or willingness to obtain any missing certifications promptly)
• Proficient in caring for both adult and pediatric ED patients
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple urgent situations
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages in an emergency setting
• Triage, assess, and prioritize patients according to acuity
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team for effective, timely interventions
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and respond to critical changes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to departmental protocols
• Assist with trauma care as required by Trauma Level IV guidelines
