Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) or comparable acute care setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and function effectively under pressure
• Proficiency with electronic medical records documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess and triage incoming patients to determine priority of care
• Deliver direct nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and life-saving interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient status, care provided, and response to treatment in the electronic health record
• Provide education and support to patients and families during high-stress situations
• Uphold all hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and evidence-based practices
