Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Concord, NC

Experienced emergency room nurses are invited to contribute their expertise and dedication in a high-impact, dynamic setting. This contract opportunity is aimed at professionals skilled in critical care, ready to manage rapid patient assessments and interventions within top-tier emergency departments.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts (0700 - 1900)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation
• Expect to work 75% of holidays

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications required
• Minimum one year of recent emergency room experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with emergency, triage, and trauma protocols
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to float across Region 1 facilities (including Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, freestanding EDs, Lake Norman, Central Division)
• Proven teamwork and effective communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
• Prioritize and execute life-saving interventions in accordance with established protocols
• Manage diverse patient populations with varying levels of acuity
• Accurately complete documentation and electronic charting for patient records
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment to support critical medical decisions
• Maintain readiness to float within the defined region to meet departmental needs
