Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Crestwood, Kentucky

Engagement in this travel nursing role gives qualified RNs a front-row seat to a 31-bed Emergency Department serving an average of 78 patients daily, spanning from infants to older adults, ensuring dynamic days filled with complex and diverse cases. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team and be exposed to a range of leadership styles and best practices, helping you deepen your expertise and further distinguish your resume.

Schedule:

• Shifts available: 0700-1900, 1100-2300, or 1900-0700
• Manager-created rota, issued about a month before each 6-week cycle
• Weekend rotation: every third weekend
• Holiday rotation; not all holidays required

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• At least 2 years of recent ER nursing experience (any trauma level)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Skills with IV starts, foleys, NG tubes, neuro assessments, codes, pressors/drips, sedation, critical patient care, hyper/hypothermia management, bedside procedures (moderate sedation)
• Adaptable, collaborative, and confident in ER leadership and subject matter expertise
