Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Crestwood, KY

This travel assignment is perfect for RNs passionate about emergency medicine who are looking to expand their skills and resume by working with an average census of 78 patients per day in a 31-bed ER. Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 0700-1900
• Mid Shift: 1100-2300
• Night Shift: 1900-0700
• Every 3rd weekend rotation and assigned holidays per department needs (with holiday rotations)
• 6-week schedule cycles provided with flexibility whenever possible

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience (travel experience preferred, but not required)
• Proficiency in IV starts, foley/NG tube insertions, advanced neuro assessments, managing codes, and titrating critical infusions
• Confident in triage, moderate sedation, and handling diverse patient populations from infants through geriatrics
• EMR experience, ideally with Cerner
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills; able to lead by example as a subject matter expert
