Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Crestwood, KY

As a highly skilled RN with expertise in emergency care, you’ll have the chance to build your resume by working in a fast-paced, 31-bed emergency department, serving patients ranging from infants to geriatrics with a variety of complex diagnoses and urgent needs. Engage with supportive resources, advanced technology (Cerner EMR), and a consistent leadership structure, all within a collaborative environment that values adaptability and a team-oriented spirit. Availability of 24/7 support from charge nurses, management, and physician teams assures you’ll always have backup when needed.

Scheduling:

• Shift options: Days (0700-1900), Mids (1100-2300), Nights (1900-0700)
• Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday assignments on a rotating basis; flexibility with RTO
• Schedule delivered in 6-week increments

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years ER RN experience (no first-time travelers)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with IV starts, foley/NG tube placement, triage, code response, pressor/cardiac drip management, procedural assistance, and critical care
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based emergency care across a broad patient population
• Perform neuro assessments and administer moderate sedation
• Serve as a role model and ER subject matter expert for peers
