Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Emergency Room care, including pediatric emergency experience, for a contract assignment. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Pediatric ER experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and monitor patients in the Emergency Department
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practitioners, and support staff to create and execute individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about care procedures, treatments, and ongoing health management
- Document all care provided according to departmental standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain composure and efficiency in urgent and emergent situations
