An experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Emergency Room (ER) specialization is sought for a travel assignment in Dawson, GA. This role offers 17-week contracts with an immediate start, requiring dedication and expertise in a Level 1 Trauma Facility setting. Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 or 48 hours weekly, supporting critical care in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in a 25-bed monitored ER with trauma bays and designated fast-track areas.
- Triage and assess approximately 140 patient visits daily, including pediatric to geriatric cases.
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and multidisciplinary teams for patient stabilization and care.
- Manage EMR documentation using Meditech 6.15.
- Participate in mandatory exams including Cardiac Rhythms and ESI Triage during orientation.
- Maintain patient safety with security and sitter support as needed.
- Administer nursing duties including lab draws, IV starts, and ventilator monitoring until admissions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN licensure with at least 5 years in a Level 1 Trauma ER; minimum 2 years in an acute care setting.
- Current TNCC certification is mandatory.
- Proficient in Meditech 6.15 electronic medical records.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS.
- Previous ER experience with high patient acuity preferred.
- No first-time travelers; direct ER experience required.

- Weekend coverage every 3-4th weekend; holidays every other.

- Orientation includes 1-2 shifts floor-specific.
