Clinic Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Decatur, GA

An experienced RN is needed for an outpatient clinic supporting ER and urgent care needs. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated and adaptable nurse skilled in emergency, urgent care, or ICU environments. This role focuses on providing comprehensive patient care and responding rapidly to evolving situations in a dynamic setting.

Schedule:

• Start time: 3:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience in ER, urgent care, or ICU strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ER/Urgent care List A and/or ER List D is desirable
• Previous outpatient clinic experience is an advantage
• Ability to prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Capable of managing both trauma and non-trauma cases efficiently
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care within the outpatient clinic setting, collaborating with ER and urgent care teams
• Perform triage, monitoring, assessment, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of needs
• Assist in managing acute and chronic conditions, administering medications, wound care, and treatments as required
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions until further care is available
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients and their families about care plans, follow-up, and prevention strategies
• Support and mentor other nursing staff as needed
