Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Demonstrated experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Proficiency in emergency response protocols and patient stabilization
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC preferred)
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Rapidly assess and prioritize patients based on acuity
- Initiate life-saving procedures and administer medications as ordered
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and changes in condition accurately
- Maintain a safe, organized, and timely flow of patient care
- Educate patients and families about treatments and next steps
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality care
