(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Detroit, Michigan

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
• Night shifts only
• No on-call requirements
• Not a block schedule

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Michigan
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; TNCC preferred
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an RN in an Emergency Room setting
• Proven ability to deliver care in fast-paced, high-stress environments
• Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and implement care plans for patients experiencing emergencies
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, treatment, and responses in the electronic health record
• Administer medications and provide advanced life support interventions as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Uphold safety protocols and commitment to quality standards in care delivery
