Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Detroit, MI

Step into a dynamic emergency care environment providing essential nursing expertise in a pivotal contract opportunity. This role is focused on delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced emergency department, with assignments structured over 13 weeks and an option to extend for ongoing impact.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours
• Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Mid shifts: Variable, typically 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• No block scheduling
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the State of Michigan required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) mandatory
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• TNCC certification preferred
• At least one year of experience as an Emergency Room RN
• Ability to thrive in high-acuity environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to ER patients with diverse and urgent medical needs
• Rapidly assess, triage, and manage multiple patients simultaneously
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education in alignment with hospital protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all clinical standards and regulations
