Supervisor (RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Duluth, Minnesota

This contract opportunity is open to skilled Registered Nurses with strong experience in emergency room settings and a passion for clinical leadership. Take on a pivotal role overseeing ER operations, shaping care delivery, and supporting team performance to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license with no restrictions
• Proven background in emergency room nursing
• Previous experience as an ER supervisor or charge nurse
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and crisis management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required; TNCC preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on patient care and advanced nursing interventions in a high acuity emergency room
• Oversee and guide ER nursing staff throughout each shift
• Monitor, prioritize, and assign patient flow to ensure efficient, quality care
• Support staff development through coaching, feedback, and training
• Respond quickly to critical situations, ensuring all protocols are followed
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Ensure compliance with facility standards, state regulations, and best clinical practices
