Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of one year of recent ER nursing experience
- Proficiency in trauma care, rapid assessment, and emergent intervention
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and treat patients with acute illness and trauma
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions swiftly
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs closely
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to implement care plans
- Provide emotional support and patient education to individuals and families
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation and adhere to facility protocols
