Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with variable hours as needed
- Flexibility may be required for floating between departments and occasional on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide independent and delegated nursing functions in alignment with state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care
- Continuously collect and assess health data and patient status
- Deliver health teaching, counseling, supportive therapy, and restorative care
- Directly care for patients or consult, supervise, or teach others as appropriate
- Implement delegated medical functions and refer patients for additional care as indicated
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards
- Contribute to the mission, vision, and values of the facility, demonstrating exceptional service behaviors
- Adapt as needed, including floating between departments within your competency
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Flexibility to float between areas and participate in on-call rotations as needed
