Supervisor (RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Esko, Minnesota

A healthcare facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to support their Emergency Room on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in fast-paced situations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Recent experience working as an RN in an Emergency Room setting
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience in an ER preferred
• Ability to assess, triage, and manage multiple patients efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS and ACLS certification required; TNCC or similar trauma certification preferred
• Proficient with electronic medical records and charting
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee ER nursing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safe and effective patient care
• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and coordination with physicians
• Mentor, support, and guide nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and high standards
• Monitor patient flow and communicate with healthcare team members to facilitate timely care
• Participate in emergency situations, leading response teams as needed
• Ensure compliance with department protocols, policies, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation for all patients under care
• Foster a collaborative environment prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction
