Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of five years of experience in emergency room nursing
- At least two years in a nursing management or leadership capacity
- Recent TB clearance (within the past 12 months)
- Demonstrated ability to manage ER staff and coordinate patient care efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day management of the Emergency Department
- Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow processes to maintain optimal department function
- Analyze and report performance metrics, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Address patient and family concerns with professionalism and empathy
