Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Eureka, CA

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 40 hours per week, guaranteed

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience in an emergency room setting
• At least two years of management or supervisory experience within emergency services
• TB clearance within the last 12 months
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the emergency department to ensure safe, quality patient care
• Lead, coach, and support ER nursing staff, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance
• Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of department personnel
• Coordinate closely with physicians and administrative leaders to optimize patient flow and department efficiency
• Serve as a resource for clinical expertise and facilitate effective problem resolution
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for all emergency department activities
