Registered Nurse ER | Evans, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement and evaluate nursing interventions using evidence-based practices.
• Provide culturally sensitive, patient- and family-centered care tailored to specific population needs.
• Coordinate and document care effectively, promoting clear interdisciplinary communication and adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, shared governance, and support staff development through precepting and mentoring roles.
• Uphold professional nursing standards in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Support resource optimization by collaborating with care managers and healthcare teams to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or multi-state compact license.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS (instructor or provisional certifications accepted within specified timelines).
• Less than one year of direct patient care experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and respond decisively and compassionately to emergencies.
• Proficient in utilizing clinical technology and electronic health records.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with variable days of the week.
• On-call duties: Two 24-hour calls every eight weeks.
• Weekend rotations: Minimum every other weekend.
• Holiday coverage: Minimum two major and two minor holidays annually.
