Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of New York
• Minimum of one year of experience working in an Emergency Room setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required), PALS or TNCC a plus
• Strong assessment and triage skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Schedule:

• Schedule and hours will be discussed during the interview process

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, accurately documenting all findings
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement treatment plans
• Monitor vital signs and rapidly respond to changes in patient status
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate records and comply with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement and professional development activities
