(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Fairport, New York

Step into a vital patient care role as a Registered Nurse with emergency room experience. You’ll work closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, triage, and manage a range of acuity levels.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC certifications a plus
• Familiarity with electronic health records and ER documentation protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rapid and accurate assessments of patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with providers and other care team members to create and execute treatment plans
• Document all patient interactions and interventions precisely in the EHR system
• Act as a resource and support for patients and families during stressful moments
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
