Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license with multi-state or compact privileges accepted
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an emergency room setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Strong critical thinking, triage, and rapid assessment skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and in fast-paced scenarios
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients, including assessment, monitoring, and rapid interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and all members of the healthcare team to stabilize and treat trauma and emergency cases
- Execute appropriate nursing protocols for various medical and surgical emergencies
- Document patient status, care, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records
