Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Farmington, NY

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent hands-on experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; additional ER-specific certifications preferred
• Exceptional assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations and provide compassionate care
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Schedule:

• Shifts and specific hours to be provided during the interview process

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon arrival and throughout their ER stay
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Document all patient interactions and care accurately in electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, offering updates and education as needed
• Maintain a sanitary and safe environment in accordance with infection prevention standards
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and changes in patients’ conditions

$1,980 - $2,166/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
