Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Flushing, New York

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience working in an emergency room setting required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (additional emergency nursing certifications highly preferred)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage, assess, and deliver direct nursing care to patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent medical needs
• Accurately administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient progress, and changes in condition
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and care plans
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety guidelines
• Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and participate in code situations as needed

$2,250 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
