Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• ED experience with the ability to provide care across age groups, from infant to geriatric
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC required; TNCC/ATCN/CEN certifications highly preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills
• Competency in advanced patient assessment, rapid response, and handling emergency situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive assessment of patients upon admission and ongoing reassessments using the nursing process
• Develop and continuously update individualized plans of care
• Safely administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and provide treatments per protocol
• Accurately document all care, communication, and outcomes in the ED flow sheet
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary care planning and uphold patient rights, safety, and confidentiality
• Educate patients and families based on assessed needs and appropriate resources
• Adhere to infection control, life safety, and emergency protocols, including disaster preparation and rapid response activations
