Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Fort Drum, NY

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Emergency Room care to fill a contract role. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated expertise in the fast-paced ER setting and can deliver compassionate, skilled care to patients with a wide variety of urgent medical needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Proven background in Emergency Room nursing
• Current certifications (BLS, ACLS; PALS or other ER-specific certifications preferred)
• Strong crisis management and triage skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute or emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with providers, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination
• Provide supportive education to patients and families regarding illnesses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in medical records
• Follow all safety, quality, and compliance guidelines
