Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Fort Myers, Florida

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting required
• Proficiency in assessment, triage, and patient care coordination for diverse populations and urgent cases
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS, or TNCC are a plus)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER, following evidence-based protocols
• Perform prompt and accurate assessments and triage of patients presenting with various conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care and support for patients and their families
• Respond to medical emergencies, implement life-saving interventions, and document patient progress accurately
• Engage in patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition of care processes

$1,753 - $1,918/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
