Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Gastonia, NC

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• At least one year of recent ER nursing experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or willingness to obtain is preferred
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients experiencing emergent, urgent, and non-urgent situations
• Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, support staff, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform interventions according to protocols
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and update records accurately
• Comfort patients and families while ensuring safety and maintaining privacy
• Respond efficiently to codes and emergency situations as needed
