Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Grand Haven, MI

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations
• Familiarity with evidence-based ER protocols and electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Role Responsibilities:

• Triage and care for patients with diverse and often complex emergency healthcare needs
• Rapidly assess patient conditions, implement appropriate interventions, and document care in the EMR
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up instructions
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety standards

$2,154 - $2,278/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
