Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Harlem, Georgia

Step into a dynamic Emergency Department setting as a vital Registered Nurse, where delivering exceptional, individualized patient care is at the heart of your practice. As a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, you will help ensure patients, families, and significant others receive high-quality, safe care tailored to their unique needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Variable days each week
• On call: Two 24-hour calls every 8 weeks
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available for a minimum of two major and two minor holidays

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Current, valid RN license (Single State or Compact)
• Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or equivalents) required upon hire or within designated timeframe
• TNCC or ATCN required within established window
• Basic computer proficiency and a strong command of English language skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities, collaboration skills and customer service focus
• Excellent time management and capacity to function effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity situations

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the full Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) for patient-centered care based on evidence and best practices
• Build relationships and partner with patients and significant others to develop individualized care plans that respect diversity and patient preference
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, quality care and maintain thorough documentation
• Support performance improvement and evidence-based practices; contribute to shared governance initiatives
• Act as a mentor or preceptor to nurture the skill development of nurses and students
• Participate in protocol development, resource planning, and respond agilely in emergencies and critical scenarios
