Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Hartford, CT

Take your expertise in Emergency Room nursing to the next level with this rewarding contract opportunity. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse skilled in ER care who can provide high-quality clinical support in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts available: 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm
• Call rotation includes:
  • One weekday on-call (3:30pm–7:00pm)
  • One weekend on-call every four weeks (7:00am–7:00pm)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of one year experience working in Emergency Room settings
• Certification through NMTCB or ARRT(N) required
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication abilities and adaptability in a collaborative environment
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable with varying patient acuity and rapid response protocols

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ER patients in accordance with industry best practices
• Assess, prioritize, and document patient care plans promptly and accurately
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and attention to patient safety
• Collaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Respond rapidly to emergencies with a calm, organized approach
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control procedures and hospital policies

$2,323 - $2,458/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
