(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Hendersonville, North Carolina

Available shift:

• 3 night shifts per week
• Every other weekend required

Key qualifications:

• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI (by date of hire), NIHSS, and ENPC certifications
• Registered Nurse license in good standing
• At least 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center, stroke center, or comparable high-volume ED (>100,000 visits/year)
• One year minimum emergency department RN experience (adult or pediatric)
• Teamwork mindset; ability to provide real-time coaching and respectful feedback
• Comfortable floating to all areas within the ED as needed
• Commitment to patient-centered care, with strong communication, AIDET, and cultural sensitivity skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based care for both adult and pediatric emergency patients in a dynamic, 101-bed emergency department
• Respond rapidly to acute medical crises, including trauma, cardiac, and neurological events
• Use advanced technologies including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in Cerner
• Update patient boards and communicate status to patients and families throughout their visit
• Work collaboratively with techs, unit clerks, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize safety and outcomes
• Uphold department policies, patient experience standards, and appearance guidelines (navy scrubs required)

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
