Excel in a dynamic environment as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care. Guided by evidence-based practice and core nursing models, you will ensure individualized, high-quality, and safe care for patients, families, and significant others.

Schedule/Hours

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Schedule flexibility required for variable days
  • On-call: Two 24-hour periods every 8 weeks
  • Weekends: Minimum every other weekend
  • Holidays: Minimum two major and two minor holidays per year

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification (or obtain within 180 days)
  • PALS certification (or obtain within 180 days)
  • TNCC or equivalent trauma certification (or obtain within 18 months)
  • Less than one year experience with direct patient care preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in English; basic computer/technology skills

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Provide patient- and family-centered care tailored to individual needs and cultural considerations
  • Partner with patients, families, and the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Document care and maintain high clinical standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and shared governance activities
  • Mentor and support other nursing professionals and students
  • Uphold all policy, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
  • Engage in continuous learning, research, and performance improvement initiatives
