Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - High Point, NC

This assignment provides a unique platform for registered nurses to broaden their skills in a busy, combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department setting. As you rotate between various sister campuses, including a major nearby city, you'll gain invaluable exposure to a variety of workplace approaches, leadership styles, and clinical protocols, significantly enhancing your career portfolio.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour shifts (Mids), 1pm–1:30am
• Potential to flex to 3pm–3:30am if needed
• Every other weekend (more if preferred)
• Holiday shifts as required

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience (combined Adult/Pedi ED required)
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS certifications required; TNCC and Charge RN experience preferred
• Competency in EPIC; Cerner experience a plus
• Phlebotomy, IV starts, triage, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management required
• First-time travel nurses are welcome

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage a 1:4 nurse-patient ratio in a fast-paced ED environment
• Float between High Point and sister Emergency Departments as needed
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to both adults and children
• Participate in triage and initiate emergent interventions
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and adapt to diverse leadership approaches
