Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Hillsdale, MI

Experienced Registered Nurses are needed to provide expert care in fast-paced emergency settings. This contract position focuses on delivering compassionate and efficient patient assessment, triage, and interventions in response to critical health events. Candidates should have a solid understanding of emergency protocols and be adaptable to rapidly changing clinical situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in rapid patient assessment and prioritization
• Strong ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial triage and ongoing assessments for patients presenting to the ER
• Administer medications, interventions, and critical care as directed by physicians
• Utilize critical-thinking skills to prioritize and deliver care for multiple patients
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records according to facility requirements
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
