Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and adapt in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Schedule:

• Contract position with varying shift availability
• Expect night, evening, weekend, and/or holiday rotations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver immediate and effective nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Perform comprehensive and focused assessments to identify life-threatening conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage care plans for critically ill or injured patients
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement physician orders accurately
• Document interventions and patient status in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on health management, procedures, and discharge care
• Uphold infection control practices and follow all departmental policies
