(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Honey Grove, Texas

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly and thoroughly assess incoming patients, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Initiate and manage a variety of emergent therapies, including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and wound care
• Serve as an essential team member during trauma, resuscitation, and code situations
• Accurately document all interventions, observations, and communications in the patient record
• Provide support and education to patients and their families during emergency events
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and facility policies
• Work collaboratively with physicians and emergency staff to deliver quality patient-centered care
