(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Honey Grove, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of one year of recent emergency room experience preferred
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Effective critical thinking and communication abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in urgent situations
• Familiarity with electronic health records and emergency protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients of all ages
• Triage patients rapidly and accurately based on medical needs
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to interventions
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform procedures within RN scope
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and ancillary departments to ensure comprehensive, team-based care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and follow-up care
• Maintain meticulous records and adhere to hospital policies and ER best practices
