Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Horseheads, NY

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New York State
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in emergency room nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines for emergency nursing
• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize patients based on clinical urgency
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Monitor patients’ conditions, noting changes and responding promptly to evolving situations
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver optimal care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and follow-up care
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate medical records
