Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Irwin, PA

A skilled and compassionate registered nurse is needed to provide critical care in a dynamic emergency room environment. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced RNs with a background in emergency services who are adept at working under pressure and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an emergency room setting
• Proficiency in emergency protocols and procedures
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are a plus)
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients presenting with a wide range of acute and urgent health issues
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Monitor patient status, document observations, and communicate changes to physicians and team members
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing life-saving care as needed
• Provide support and education to patients and families during stressful situations
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Adhere strictly to safety and infection control protocols

$2,240 - $2,370/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
