Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Jackson, MS

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and PALS certifications are a plus
• Excellent assessment, triage, and clinical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage rapid changes and high-stress situations

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients upon arrival
• Execute timely and accurate interventions for trauma, cardiac, and medical emergencies
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as needed
• Coordinate with physicians, ancillary staff, and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress clearly and accurately
• Maintain compliance with protocols, safety regulations, and best practices
