(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Kansas City, Kansas

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a dynamic emergency room setting for a 13-week assignment. You will play a key role in delivering critical nursing support, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour night shifts
• 6:45pm – 7:15am

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
• Demonstrated experience in an emergency room environment
• Strong assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to emergency department patients, including assessment, triage, treatment, and reassessment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition swiftly and appropriately
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Operate within established safety and quality guidelines, ensuring compliance with all hospital and regulatory policies
• Educate patients and families regarding care procedures and discharge instructions
• Support colleagues and help maintain a positive work environment
