Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Kansas City, KS

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour nights
• 6:45pm – 7:15am
• 13-week assignment

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Kansas
• At least one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Valid certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Strong assessment, triage, and crisis intervention skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid assessments and triage for patients experiencing acute and emergent medical situations
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols
• Accurately document nursing assessments, patient status, interventions, and responses in electronic health records
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in high-pressure scenarios
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families facing urgent medical issues
• Adhere strictly to protocols related to safety, infection control, and quality assurance
