(RN) Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Lake Park, Georgia

Schedule:

• Night shifts: 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• No block scheduling available
• Every other weekend required (Friday–Sunday)
• No on-call obligations

Qualifications:

• Active GA or compact state RN license (must be in-hand at application)
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent ER nursing experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIH, and TNCC (all valid and current)
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Ability to float, including potential COVID unit support

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a Level I Trauma Center
• Ventilated patient management
• Triage proficiency
• Previous travel nursing resourcefulness (first-time travelers considered)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages presenting with acute conditions (e.g., DKA, COPD, stroke, chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatric cases)
• Adhere to a patient assignment of 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work collaboratively in a unit adapting to leadership and practice enhancements
• Maintain current best practices in a non-trauma designated yet fast-paced emergency department
