Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Lakewood, NM

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities under pressure
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in EMR systems and ER protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute and urgent medical conditions
• Deliver patient-focused care in alignment with best practices and facility protocols
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and execute care plans as directed by providers
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and fellow clinicians to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate actively in shift reports
• Assist with rapid response situations and support trauma care interventions
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies
