Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts may be required
• On-call coverage during scheduled shifts as needed
• Floating to other compatible departments based on need

Responsibilities:

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency room patients
• Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment
• Deliver patient education, health teaching, and counseling
• Provide supportive therapy and restorative treatments directly or through delegation and supervision
• Execute delegated medical functions and facilitate appropriate referrals for further patient evaluation
• Monitor and review patient treatment and therapy plans, updating as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize available resources
• Embody and promote the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare facility

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license (eligible for practice in Colorado)
• Proven experience in Emergency Room nursing (recent ER clinical experience preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Adaptability and willingness to float to other departments as needed
