Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Los Angeles, CA

Take your nursing expertise to the next level in a fast-paced emergency department environment on a 13-week contract assignment. This position focuses on providing top-quality care to patients in urgent need, making a meaningful impact every shift.

Schedule/Hours:

• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Evening shifts

Qualifications:

• Valid and active California Registered Nurse license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Proven experience in the emergency room setting (RN-ER)
• Familiarity and hands-on proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in rapidly changing situations

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with acute emergencies and trauma
• Safely administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Perform ongoing patient monitoring, manage patient flow efficiently, and respond quickly to critical changes
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in Epic EMR
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills in all patient and family interactions

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
