As part of a busy 31-bed Emergency Department with a diverse patient population, you’ll enhance your skills in trauma and critical care while collaborating with experienced ER clinicians. Expand your portfolio by engaging with patients of all ages—from infants to geriatrics—and encountering a wide variety of acute presentations each shift. Leadership here values adaptability, expertise, and a team-driven approach, offering continued professional growth as you share your expertise and learn from industry leaders.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: Days (0700-1900), Mids (1100-2300), Nights (1900-0700)
  • Schedule cycle: Assigned in 6-week increments, released about a month in advance
  • Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
  • No on-call required
  • Holiday rotation ensures fair scheduling

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years ER experience (any trauma level)
  • No first-time travelers
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
  • Proficient with Cerner EMR and advanced IV/medication administration skills
  • Strong neuro assessment and triage capabilities
  • Comfortable managing critical and behavioral health patients
  • Soft skills: Adaptable, team-oriented, leadership mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency care for a wide variety of diagnoses including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and metabolic emergencies
  • IV starts, foley/NG insertion, manage pressors/critical drips, assist with bedside procedures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the ER team
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including 24/7 access to charge nurses, physicians, and advanced support resources
