RN Emergency Room | Lynn, Massachusetts

Step into a key role providing emergency care as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced hospital environment. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced RN with a background in emergency room settings, ready to deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule/Hours:

• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Rotating shifts: 4 weeks of nights followed by 4 weeks of days (or the reverse)
• Start dates available: April 6 or April 20

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Experience in an Emergency Room setting required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform procedures as ordered
• Monitor patient condition, updating physicians and other care team members as needed
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment under pressure
