Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 36 hours/week
- Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- Occasional floating and day shift rotation as needed (low frequency)
- Free on-site parking
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care across all populations in a busy, high-volume ED (230 visits/day)
- Perform assessments, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKGs, cardiac monitoring, splinting, and patient education
- Engage in critical thinking to swiftly respond to emergent situations
- Collaborate within a 1:4 clinician-to-patient ratio, adapting to patient needs and departmental flow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience
- Proficient in core ED procedures and protocols
- Must be AHA certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS; NRP and TNCC strongly preferred
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC ASAP advantageous)
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
