Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Macon, GA

This distinguished hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching institution, designed for nurses who thrive in busy, dynamic emergency settings. With state-of-the-art facilities—including a 61+ bed emergency department, cutting-edge technology, and a robust support team—you’ll collaborate with experienced clinicians and expand your skill set with exposure to a broad spectrum of patient cases and advanced clinical resources.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
• 5-6 weekend shifts per 12 in a 6-week schedule
• No call; Holiday rotation required

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Level 1 Trauma emergency setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNAs, unit secretaries, charge nurses, and 24/7 RT, hospitalist, and intensivist coverage
• Manage diverse cases: chest pain, strokes, diabetes, abdominal pain, trauma, mental health, and more
• Perform & monitor critical drips (Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, Levophed)
• Function in a fast-paced, team-centered culture

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Valid RN license and BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• EKG competency (BCR required)
• National certification in Emergency Nursing preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC, Pyxis, Alaris, Phillips monitors, and other advanced equipment
• Confident caring for high acuity patients and trauma cases
