This contract role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical expertise in ER, urgent care, or related acute care settings. Schedule:

  • 3:00 PM start time
  • 12-hour shifts

Looking for candidates with:

  • An active and unencumbered RN license
  • Proven experience in ER, urgent care, or comparable acute clinical roles (ICU backgrounds are welcome)
  • Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows and protocols
  • Effective assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking ability in urgent scenarios
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required
  • Ability to collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities include:

  • Triage and manage urgent patient needs, prioritizing based on acuity and clinic protocols
  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to individuals with a wide range of urgent medical concerns
  • Collaborate closely with providers and medical staff to facilitate patient care plans and interventions
  • Administer medications and perform procedures according to physician orders and nursing standards
  • Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
