Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Room care to provide exceptional support and patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers a structured, supportive setting where advanced clinical skills and team-oriented professionals can thrive.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Shift time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend rotation
- No on-call or call-back requirements
- Expectation to work approximately 75% of scheduled holidays
Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a high-volume Emergency Department
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Excellent triage, critical assessment, and emergency intervention skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and acuity levels
- Comfortable floating within designated hospital regions and affiliated Emergency Departments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, injuries, and acute illnesses
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Accurately document observations, treatment plans, and patient responses in electronic medical records
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe and efficient care environment, adhering to all hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Demonstrate flexibility in floating to multiple facilities across the specified region as needed
